Make an industrial statement with the Stolp display cabinet. The cool design by designer Carolina Wilcke exudes quality, without detracting from the contents. The display cabinet of glass and powder-coated aluminium is equipped with built-in LED spots and height-adjustable shelves.
Carolina Wilcke likes to explore the boundary between art and design. The Dutch designer (1980) graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2009. Since this time her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. Carolina’s work has clear influences from art and architectural history, like the play of light in 17th century paintings, but her background as a goldsmith also plays a role in her refined approach to design. She combines and constructs with various components to create more than a sum of parts and is fascinated by the endless search for perfect proportions. Carolina’s designs can be found in many collections, including Spectrum and Pols Potten.
