However, for designers Mia Lagerman and Ehlén Johansson the driving force behind the Sticks series are the plastic hooks that can be attached in all sorts of ways. The wall coat rack Sticks HJH is as standard available in three lengths.
Winners of numerous design awards, Mia Lagerman and Ehlén Johansson met while on staff at Ikea. Lagerman had studied at Stockholm’s Konstfackskolan and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, while Johansson graduated from the HDK-School of Design and Craft at Gothenburg University. The two maintain their own practices but collaborate frequently, creating playful yet spare furniture, lighting, accessories, and bathroom fixtures for wide range of manufacturers.
