It is not the mirror itself, but the frame that makes the mirror. That much is clear from the Liston line designed by Danish bureau Pelikan & Co. The narrow frame blends in well with its surroundings, this is emphasised by the fact that the mirror and frame form a single surface. The mirrors are available in various sizes.
Pelikan Copenhagen is the name of the former agency of Mia Gammelgaard, Niels Gammelgaard, Lars Mathiesen and Ehlén Johansson. These four designers worked for companies such as Erik Jorgensen, Matteo Grassi and Fritz Hansen. Their designs are characterized by their agelessness and occasional predilection for classical forms.
or big or small?
Select the size that fits your space – varying from 50 by 50 to 100 by 200 cm – and decide for yourself if the mirror should be hung horizontally or vertically.
optical illusion
The ‘raised’ rear separates the Liston from the wall. This makes it appear as though the mirror is floating.
