For the design of Tree Hooked, designers Alissia Melka-Teichroew and Jan Habraken were inspired by a flower pattern they had seen on a wall somewhere during a trip through Europe. By mounting the laser-cut hooks alongside one another on the wall, some very attractive effects can be created. Tree Hooked is available in various colours.
Jan Habraken and Alissia Melka-Teichroew both graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven. Since 2007 they have been operating from New York. Habraken is the owner of FormNation, a company specialised in product design and architecture. Melka-Teichroew is the founder and creative director of design studio ByAmt, which makes uniquely bold jewellery, interior design objects and furniture.
colourful patterns
Tree Hooked invites mixing and matching. Combine various colours of the wall mounted coat rack to create a playful pattern on the wall. Varying the height, so that the coat rack can accommodate people big and small.
small is beautiful
Tree Hooked does not take up much space, but offers a lot of hanging space. The playful coat rack sits slightly away from the wall.
