The Krok series of coat racks excels in simplicity. The designers Mia Lagerman & Ehlén Johansson have stripped the design to its bare essentials. Krok HJH 10 is a wall coat rack with a double hook made of high-quality plastic. The rigid steel wall plate can be fixed to a substrate of timber, brick or concrete with the two screws supplied in the same colour as the wall plate.
Winners of numerous design awards, Mia Lagerman and Ehlén Johansson met while on staff at Ikea. Lagerman had studied at Stockholm’s Konstfackskolan and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, while Johansson graduated from the HDK-School of Design and Craft at Gothenburg University. The two maintain their own practices but collaborate frequently, creating playful yet spare furniture, lighting, accessories, and bathroom fixtures for wide range of manufacturers.
